Doomsday trip to Germany and the new normal ...well it was supposed to be my 10 day B-day (Tennis-re-)treat. ... Did not quite turn out that way....

Quarantine (well more self isolation) in my mum's basement and garage....the 1st week (and that cigarette box urgh)... really felt all a bit apocalyptic...

Friday

March 27th

OK, the tennis retreat is now oficially cancelled, hotel is closed. So is my return flight for April....Birth day dinner is off and when I want to play tennis it seems I have to play the wall.

El Papel is in high demand ....sold out as a matter of fact ...Really??!! People ...you make me like you less every day.

Dag o-ton: "Deutschland kackt und backt!"

Not just Germany it seems. Shelves were empty in London too.

Not sure if I am missing out on those empty streets in London. No idea if it is this once in a life time atmosphere of space and quiet or more like developing from death trap to death pit.

Actually think about going to take a temporary job doing farm work... asparagus and strawbwerries...have no idea how long I'll be stuck here.

Good news though is that after 30 years (longer, probably all my life) I finally get my 2 meter (and I have to point out that for once I do have the backing of so pretty much every government in the world) safety distance, also known as breathing space, from the rest of the (over)crowded population.

Was what I  thought...seems old habbits die hard and the 2 metre turn out to be 6 feet of aprox 3 individuals who really could not care less and end up planting them into my backside.

Really could not stand watching the news.

Was thinking of the "it" that this could be and the "when" being "now". But all this just gave me headaches and hyperventilation.

What could easily have been mistaken for symptoms of the virus?! Or one of it's side effects: Some kind of mental infection.

So I mostly spent my time outside. Pretty cold still....

Did try some more of the flying though.

And the only thing (news wise ) that cheered me up was this....

And as plans and planes seem to be a thing of the past at least everything around (the planet) gets a well deserved breather.

The normally completely cut up sky almost seems untouched by fuelscars.

So blue, so deep so unaffected by it all.
