Sunday December 29th

Back from the annual x-mas trip to Germany.

At last pretty pain free after that car must have hit me rather hard. Flat out on the street in the p...ouring rain. Never saw it coming. All I remember was my ribcage smashing onto the street, my soft bits going flat like a pancake (not that they are anything but in their natural state) my knee following in some rather twisted motion. Can not believe I never got a single bruise. Thought I would be black and blue the next day. Well rather lucky though just painful moving my arm for a few weeks. Ah right and laughing was off, coughing too. Well better now, almost forgot about it.

Flying home for x-mas

And then driving on to see my Dad (picture is fake...taken in September), this time round it was raining so hard  I could have never taken a picture whilst driving!!!

Seems like the slimy sniffles over the winter months are something I have to get used to.

The out look on life is rather something I familiarize with in progress/process...I mean getting older, (run over)and so on and all...

X-mas eve with my mum.

Got a little tipsy and almost peed my pants trying to take the picture in front of the tree of the two  of us. With my mum’s new smart phone!!! Us two old women not having a clue how to work it!!! And I do manage to look rather serious not?

Better with my own camera

Impressions of the 25th!!! All came and went by to fast,  a bit of a rush really...but so worth it.

Winter walk...

God still throwing his rainbows at me...nice x-mas surprise...

as recently the elements or whatever seem/s to be out in force to throw a lot of other stuff around and in my direction.

Whilst I feel I stand/walk alone and great the last remainig light...my favourite activity and song (well thought it was Alterbridge but actually it is Audioslave...Perfect in memorandum for all the recently deceased and departed:

"The Last Remaining Light"

Roll me on your frozen fields
Break my bones to watch them heal
Drown me in your thirsty veins
Where I'll watch and I'll wait, and pray for the rain

Curl like smoke, and breathe again
Down your throat, inside your ribs
Through your spine, and every nerve
Where I watch, and I wait, and yield to the hurt / (herd?)

And if you don't believe the sun will rise
Stand alone and greet the coming night, in the last remaining light

Seven moons, and seven suns
Heaven waits, for those who run

Down your winter, and underneath your waves
Where you watch and you wait, and pray for the day

And if you don't believe the sun will rise
Stand alone and greet the coming night, in the last remaining light, light, light, light

Gosh..... that epic voice.... so many of them (brilliant voices) gone .....end of just another era!!!!
